Enterprise Architecture:  AERTERRA’S Approach

AERTERRA has a track record of developing and delivering clear,

Understandable and useable Enterprise Architecture products.

All too often Architects deliver unusable, over-complicated

Architectures that are impossible for the intended stakeholder

community to understand.

Fourteen years consultancy pedigree, built on 20-year’s military

experience allows AERTERRA to deliver excellent, useable

products based on understanding:

The Customer’s needs:  The first and most important aspect of developing an Enterprise Architecture is to foster a shared understanding with the Customer off what the architecture will, and will not, provide.

An in-depth understanding of military requirements in a military context:  Whilst it is said that “there is no such thing as a stupid question”, being bombarded with endless questions is both time consuming and annoying.

       – Employing systems engineers, with little or no military experience, to create military architectures usually results in a much greater stakeholder liaison burden.

       – Alternatively, experience has proven that using an architect who has extensive experience of military operations reduces the load placed on stakeholders.

AERTERRA’s approach ensures customers get the most from their investment: products that are produced with a minimum of stakeholder input that are used and reused, rather than paying for something that languishes on a shelf.
